Meanwhile can I just say that this week has been crazy? Adrian has been out of town all week for work and it’s my first time taking care of both kids on my own. While Monday was certainly the hardest trying to figure out how to bathe both kids and get them ready for bed, I think we’re figuring it out now. Thankfully it’s almost the weekend!

Great looking dress! Question – how come the smallest size for this dress is a medium which fits a waist is 29 inch? Same thing with sheinside. I bought a dress there because of your endorsement but the smallest size (s) fits a 27 or 28 inch waist. Surely someone who normally wears size s would have a smaller waist? Do they deliberately make the dresses bigger and expect one to tailor them?

totally almost forgot to comment- I would put it towards some really cool sandals or wedges…. but what I would really like to put it toward is some tory burch flats, sandals, or a bag! I've also wanted a rebecca minkoff clutch or bag for some time. I have a huge shopbop wishlist and would love to start getting some stuff. 🙂 thanks for the chance! I actually just got my first kate spade bag thru shopbop when they had their sale a few months back. I had a $50 giftcard that my aunt had gotten me and hadn't used it because most of their stuff is well over $50 (well the stuff that I wanted all was lol I guess i have expensive taste lol) so once they had their sale I totally said, you know what, it's almost my birthday and i have wanted a kate spade bag forever….so between the sale and the gift card I ended up getting an almost $300 bag for like 220 🙂

I've found that their sizing generally runs on the smaller side and was also surprised to see that sizing for this dress started at a medium. I actually didn't need any tailoring but my belly is still a bit bigger than normal as a result of having had my baby. I just measured my dress and found it to be 13" across at the waist, 16" at the bust, and 13" at the shoulders. Hope that helps!
