The weather was hot and steamy again today and I was only more than happy to wear an easy, breezy maxi dress {especially cause I was outside at the Texas State Fair all day!}. My parents went on a cruise to Italy and Greece a month ago and my mom brought home this dress and necklace for me as a souvenir. My mom is seriously the best! The length was perfect on me as a maxi {I have a feeling this dress isn’t meant to be a maxi, lol} and I love the pairing of all white with turquoise accessories. It’s a combination I always picture with beachy Mediterranean lifestyles, so I had to give it a shot here in my little urban Dallas world too. 🙂
Although this outfit is rather simple, the beauty is really in how the dress moves. I love all the fabric and with even the slightest breeze, the dress begins to dance in the wind.

Where did your mom go? I was in Rome just this past spring.
It's quite odd seeing you in this breezy, light, and Mediterranean dress just as I turned up the thermostat (it's about 40 degrees outside). Nevertheless you look stunning and I can now live vicariously through you.
