Happy Friday! We’ve got a busy weekend ahead of us filled with Chinese New Year festivities and I can’t wait! Adrian and I are hoping to take Dylan to see his first live lion dance and of course ring in the Year of the Horse with some fireworks. I love sharing this bit of my Chinese culture with Dylan and I’m really hoping he’ll grow up to appreciate his mixed ethnicity (Adrian is Hispanic). I already know he’s a big fan of dumplings so no doubt he’ll be gobbling them up at our family feast tomorrow!
I decided to go for a glammed up lumberjack look today by styling up my buffalo plaid shirt with a fitted pencil skirt and gold statement jewelry. Not only was it stylish and comfy, but the red and gold combination was perfect for Chinese New Year too!
