Sometimes after I put the kids to bed, I find myself scrolling through Pinterest or Instagram, and before I know it I’ve stumbled across a page that just blows me away… and I’m there scrolling for the next 2 hours! I somehow ended up on Wengenn in Wonderland’s website where she showcases these incredible dreamscapes of her son while he’s napping; they’re absolutely magical, whimsical and beyond creative! I was inspired to create a few dreamscapes of my own and while mine are very amateur at best, I figured it would still be fun to share these with you all!
Monster Jam Session Dreamscapes
I centered my dreamscapes around the pajamas and since this one had monsters jamming to music, I just went along with that concept and created a dance party! How fun would it be to be dancing on the hill with some friendly monsters? The clouds are actually made out of quilt batting while boombox and pink monster were simple DIYs made using felt.
Birthday Party Dreamscapes
Who can resist a giant cake and balloons? : ) Funny enough, for this one I repurposed some old scarves to use as the “icing” between the cake layers!
Rainbow Showers Dreamscapes
Carter’s Polka-Dot Monster Pajamas
I played up on the polka dots on the pajama pants and had it rain colored dots! This was actually one of the first dreamscapes that I created and looking back I would have made the umbrella 3D with some quilt batting to help give it some pop.
Sweet Treat Dreamscapes
Donut Sleeper Pajamas
stuffed animals: macaron, soft-serve ice cream, cupcake, donut,
This pajama set is Mei’s favorite and I’ve had to talk her out of wearing it on multiple occasions since the weather is warming up now. Mei had a bunch of these Squishable stuffed food toys so I figured it would be perfect for this little setup.
Let me know what you guys think of these fun dreamscapes!
Have you ever done anything similar with your little ones?
