I’ve been skipping out on my monthly budget posts (last one was for January, eek!) but looking back at my post history, it seems like it’s a popular one with you guys!  So I wanted to share what last month’s spending was like.

I ended up making a couple big purchases during a Nordstrom sale including this Tory Burch bag (see on me) and Rag & Bone distressed jeans (see on me).  I did sell my Kate Spade red tote on Poshmark as it was being replaced with the Tory Burch crossbody.  (I’ll be listing more items on my Poshmark this weekend if you want to follow me there!)

I also love updating my accessories for the summer as I feel like it’s one of the easiest ways to update a look for the new season.  BaubleBar is one of my go-to shops for jewelry and I love these tassel earrings (don’t they look just like these Oscar de la Renta ones?).  While it looks like the white ones are sold out here, I also am in love with the tassel options from Lisa Lerch — seriously need these turquoise ones!

I also lucked out with a Zappos gift card and splurged on these pom pom sandals — see on me here and here.  I’ve been wearing them lots as they’re perfect for when I want to wear flats yet want something dressy!

And what ended up sending me just over on my budget was this Target tassel straw tote (see in this outfit).  I had actually passed on getting it when I first saw it but ended up going back to the store a couple weeks later as I just couldn’t get it out of my head!  I’ve since been using it quite a bit as we’ve been having picnics and it’s been perfect for fitting in everything that we need.  It does mean that I will have to be more vigilant about my June budget though!
