Today was one of those drizzy overcast days that makes you just want to snuggle under the covers and wear pajamas all day. Since that wasn’t an option, I went for a casual and comfortable ensemble combining a colorful scarf and a moto jacket with jeans and little red suede shoes.
I picked up this merlot moto jacket this past weekend (while I was supposed to be buying Christmas presents for others… for shame!) and fell in love with the beautiful color and minimal zipper hardware. Jacket sleeves typically run long on me and those that include zippers at the wrist opening are particularly problematic for alterations. I was glad to see that this jacket would be a simple hem (although I just rolled the sleeves under as I haven’t had time to sew). I love that I can just throw on a pair of jeans to pair with this jacket, top it off with a scarf, and I’m good to go!
