Merry Christmas! Dylan is all about the holidays this year and enjoying Christmas through his eyes has brought a whole new joy for our little family. He’s been requesting different Christmas songs for the last month, from “Jingle Bells” to “Frosty The Snowman” to “Little Drummer Boy”, Adrian and I are singing all day long. His school even taught them a little dance to go along with “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” and we’ve performed it a couple of times already for friends and family — it’s seriously the cutest thing!
We spent the morning checking out the ICE! exhibit at The Gaylord where basically 2 million pounds of ice are handcrafted from artisans from Harbin, China into different sculptures based on a theme. This year it was all about Frosty and it couldn’t have been better timing given Dylan’s current love of that snowman!

Dylan has actually been “talking” to Santa every day on his Northpole Communicator and it’s really built up his anticipation of Christmas Eve when Santa makes his big flight. We baked some cookies this afternoon to leave out for Santa tonight and, given this kid’s love of treats, he surprised us all and refrained from eating a single one insisting that we save them all for Santa. 🙂
