I just realized today that Labor Day weekend is this weekend. Boy does time fly by! Adrian and I are actually headed to Chicago for a college friend’s wedding over the long weekend. I’m pretty excited as there will be lots of old college friends that Adrian and I haven’t seen in years and I haven’t been to Chicago since I was little. The only kicker is that it’ll be an adults-only event so we’ll be leaving Dylan at home with my mother-in-law (who offered to come in from El Paso to take care of our little guy!) It will be my first time away from Dylan overnight so I’m a little anxious about it, but I have no doubt that Dylan be loving his time with Grandma. On the flip side, it will be a nice little getaway for me and Adrian too. Any places we should see or food we should eat while we’re there?

Fantastic outfit, I love the navy with the dusty pink. I lived in Chicago for years, if you want classic Chicago-style pizza, my fave is Giordano's. For a fancy lunch on Michigan Ave., Bandara is delicious. It's a walking city, so bring comfy shoes.
