Neon is one of those trends that just seems so perfect for Spring. I love the bright, punchy color and it just adds a jolt of energy to my day! While it may seem like a daring color choice, it’s surprisingly easy to wear. This neon yellow sweater was a closet addition from several years ago, and it has since become a staple that I’ve come back to every year.
For today, I layered the sweater over some black and white polka dots (black and white go with everything, in my opinion!) and then kept the rest of the colors in my outfit dark to keep the focus on the neon. I debated whether to add any accessories as I was afraid it might be too much, but fortunately this gold and black necklace coordinated perfectly and added the perfect amount of bling!
Moral of the story? Don’t be afraid of the neon! I’m even hoping to add a pair of neon pumps to my closet this year… Maybe something like these? 🙂
