I’m still running on an adrenaline high from last night as I attended an event to view the only infinity mirror room art installation in North America at the Dallas Museum of Art. If you’re a long-time reader, you may remember that Adrian and I actually had our wedding at the Dallas Museum of Art, so it was nostalgic to be able to go back together last night to enjoy this exhibit! I’ll admit that I had been marveling at pictures on Instagram for months now of peoples’ selfies while viewing the art but had no idea what to expect from an actual experience point of view.
I was surprised to discover that the exhibit itself is actually quite small — about the size of a small shed! Two people are allowed into the Dallas Museum of Art exhibit at a time and you are allowed to stand on a small platform that about the size of 3 floor tiles, not even wide enough for 2 people to stand side by side! You have to stand when inside (no sitting, squatting, or bending the knees whatsoever) and your time is limited to 45 seconds. No bags are allowed, anything beyond a small camera or phone is allowed. My recommendation is to plan out what kind of picture you want to take before you go in since really all you have time for is just taking a few quick selfies while inside!
This Dallas Museum of Art exhibit is absolutely breathtaking. It almost feels as if you’re in an inception experience as you see infinite reflections of yourself from all angles. It was 45 seconds of escape and such an absolutely incredible experience! If you live in Dallas, the Kusama Pumpkins exhibit only runs a few more weeks until February 25 and is a definite must-see!
Meanwhile I wore one of my favorite dresses that I picked up a few months ago from Ann Taylor and was surprised to see that not only is it restocked, but it is also on major sale! This dress sold out almost immediately when I first bought it (sooner than I was even able to get an outfit post up for it!), but it’s back in a few limited sizes! It’s also available in black with more size options in stock and would make such a cute LBD. All dresses and skirts are 40% off at Ann Taylor right now (code DRESSUP) and I’ve rounded up my favorites (I’d buy this pink bell sleeve dress in an instant if my size was in stock!):

Meanwhile I’ve been seeing feather earrings around almost everywhere lately and didn’t even realize that it was such a popular trend! I love that these aren’t too big or dramatic, making them a statement piece for everyday yet not over the top! I’ve rounded up a few more feather earrings that caught my eye (I’m personally loving these that combine the feather and hoop!):
