Hello! I can’t believe Christmas has passed! We had the best time out in El Paso celebrating with Adrian’s side of the family. But, there’s still one more holiday left and it’s probably one of my favorites! Christmas is all about family time for me, but for New Year’s, it’s all about getting together with friends. This year will be extra meaningful as we’re welcoming in a new decade, and there’s no better way to start things off than with an intimate gathering at home and putting together some of your favorite no cook appetizers!
I wanted to share some inspiration for a New Year’s Eve party that is perfect if you’re looking for something easy yet still packs a punch for your guests. Holiday party planning can be a bit stressful, so I’m showing how you can set up an amazing get together with a NO COOK food setup! I picked up everything I needed (even the festive décor!) from Whole Foods and kept it all under a $150 budget as well.

Tips on How to Assemble the Best No Cook Appetizers
I have always loved shopping at Whole Foods (I actually grew up in Austin, TX where Whole Foods has their headquarters!) as they have the best selection of organic produce. Even better, I especially love the helpful tips and product picks from their knowledgeable team of experts. I popped into the store early on Sunday morning and was able to pick up everything I needed in under an hour!
TIP 1: Start With Wine
presto prosecco | sparkling rose
A party always needs good wine and when it comes to ringing in the new year, I’d recommend going with something sparkling! I’m personally not a pro at wines so I love that Whole Foods has sommeliers that provide hand-picked holiday favorites that are then labeled on their shelves. I picked up the Presto Prosecco with tasting notes of fruity apple and peach as well as the Madame Liberte Sparkling Rose with tasting notes of rich berries and a floral finish.

TIP 2: Food For Everyone
caviar | assorted crackers | hummus | shrimp cocktail | bread loaf | smoked salmon | olives
Serving a group doesn’t have to be hard. Grazing tables are having a big moment right now, and after having personally attended a few events where they were set up, I absolutely love them. Grazing tables are essentially just tablescapes filled with artfully arranged meats, cheese, and fruits. They make entertaining incredibly easy, look impressive, and best part, no cooking is required!
I wanted to elevate the everyday charcuterie board and added some seafood selection to my table. I’ve always turned to Whole Foods when it comes to fish as you can not only taste the freshness, but I love that Whole Foods also has a commitment to sustainable wild-caught seafood..
Shrimp cocktail is an easy win when it comes to easy finger foods and Whole Foods actually makes it easy by preparing everything for you (plus it’s on Prime member sale right now!). I also picked up my first jar of caviar after getting inspired from this mini guide and was actually surprised to find it paired deliciously with crackers and smoked salmon — I picked up the 365 Everyday Value Assorted Entertainment Crackers that provided 6 different cracker varieties as well as the Santa Barbara’s Smokehouse Oak Whiskey & Applewood Smoked Salmon which, in my opinion, has the best cured flavor that’s not too overpowering. I rounded out my foods with a few of the classics including a few cheeses, hummus, bread, and fruit.

TIP 3: Decorate With Flowers
Finally, it’s not a party without some festive decor! I picked up a couple floral bouquets — I actually find the filler flowers the best when it comes to decorating a tablescape — and it was as easy as just placing a few stems here to change it up. My picks here include gysophilia and hypericum and I thought the dainty flowers were the perfect accent!

A no-cook party is definitely one that I need to join! We don’t have a Whole Foods near me, but I am sure I could do something similar by shopping at Aldi’s or something! Great idea!

I use a lot of the same things you do. Lots of Italian meats, cheeses, shrimp, hummos, etc. People love the food and it makes it so much easier on the hosts.

I do not enjoy cooking for others. It’s not one of my strengths. Serving already prepared foods, as you suggested, is more my style.

This is such a great one! I do so much cooking around the holidays, that it’s nice to have other ideas for what to serve.

In fact, there is no longer any need to prepare for a party on your own. All you need is a desire to have a good evening with friends. and delegate the organization to professionals in your field. This applies to both food, various snacks, and the bar. Here https://www.poptop.uk.com/suppliers/catering/mobilebar/ you can always choose the best mobile bar for a cocktail party right at your home
