Adrian and I decided to take advantage of a perfect Saturday day and explore some different photo spots around our neighborhood. On normal weekdays, he’s normally out the door before the sun is even up, so I manage on my own with my trusty tripod and remote. On weekends though, I can sometimes convince him to help me take a couple pictures (the promise of getting dinner afterwards works wonders). I love the different angles that he can capture, not to mention the fact that you get to see more than just my rooftop!
These first few pictures are taken next to the little creek about two blocks away from my house. Like all bodies of water in Dallas, the creek is all man-made, but I love it all the same! It’s the perfect urban escape.
The second spot was actually intended to be next to a house with some
really amazing tulips in their front yard. Unfortunately when we drove
up to the house, the tulips weren’t looking so hot so we ended up
settling for the sidewalk down the street. It’s basically the same
thing. 🙂

Anyway, for me, it's always better if somebody else can take my picture, too. If I had my way, I'd have a photographer on my beck and call and a location scout, too. Alas, we live in the real world. Sigh… oh I mean, le sigh. 🙂
