Similar to my love of makeup, I also love changing up my nail polish. I stopped at my Ulta this weekend and found a couple bottles left of Barielle’s latest 2010 fall collection, “Style in Argyle”. The color is described as a soft brown with copper pearl and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Indoors, the color is a simple brown. But once you move outdoors, it becomes a myriad of colors with browns and coppers. These pictures are taken after having applied two coats of polish.
You can see the slight copper tone towards bottom of bottle |
Typo? I think this should be “Cashmere or Lose Me”. |
Barielle’s latest color is absolutely perfect for fall. Unfortunately for me, this polish started chipping after the second day (I used both Seche Vite base coat and top coat). I’ll have to experiment with different base/top coats to see if I can find something that works better for Barielle polishes. These colors are too gorgeous for me to give up now!
Have you guys had any luck with Barielle polishes? Base / top coat suggestions?

@elleandish actually my Ulta is about 30 minutes away but it's on the way to my parent's house so I end up going every now and then. I had a a $5 of $10 purchase coupon so I had to take advantage last weekend. i actually never even knew that Ulta carried Barielle! 🙂
