I recently picked up a pair of Oakley mirrored aviators and feel like I’ve been living under a rock all this time! These sunglasses are absolutely amazing and all this time I had no idea that Oakley even had a lifestyle line available!

I had always previously considered Oakley a brand that delivered sunglasses geared towards sports wear, so when I stopped into the store a couple weeks ago, I was so pleasantly surprised to see styles that were on trend and super fashionable for everyday wear.
Even with the new lifestyle line of sunglasses though, Oakley stayed true to their performance and innovation promise. All lenses are made from a super durable Plutonite that provide optical clarity and are shatter resistant (I actually watched them demo slamming a giant mallet onto a lens and there was barely a scratch from the impact!). The nosepads are snag free and sweat-proof, a huge deal for me considering I always rest my sunglasses on top of my head and get hair stuck all the time with my other sunglasses! The frame itself is sturdy and I don’t feel like they’re fragile like my Ray Ban sunglasses are. Even with the Oakley lifestyle line, these sunglasses can be worn to workout and they promise to stay put and deliver the performance that you expect from a pair of Oakley’s.
I can honestly say that my Oakley’s are my absolute favorite pair of sunglasses right now. They stay put either on my nose or on my head and you can’t beat that they are stylish and functional!

I'm drooling over the aviator pairs! From all these glasses brands, which ones would you recommend as your go-tos? I'm looking for a fall/winter appropriate pair that I could wear for years!
I would definitely say that Oakley is my go-to for sunglasses now and I'm not just saying that either. I absolutely LOVE my Caveat aviators and wear them all the time because they're so comfortable! Maybe try them out in store to see which style you like the best. Hope that helps! 🙂
THANK YOU!! Clothes, I get, sunglasses and accessories, I'm just not savvy about at all! Sorry to just keep bothering you, have you had any experience with this brand called Vain Pursuits? I'm in the middle of my second trimesters and my skin is just turning horrible. Everyone's telling me to use natural products but between pregnancy, job and family I just have no time or any idea what to use..
Oh no! I've never heard of Vain Pursuits but the concept looks really cool! I love the idea of personalized skincare and hopefully they can create something that's pregnancy friendly for you. I am planning on doing a post with some of the natural personal care products I've been using this pregnancy in a week or so…not sure if that'll be helpful for your specific skin issues but maybe? take care! 🙂
