I was rummaging through my closet this Sunday morning and feeling uninspired by my closet. Finally, as I was about to walk out of my closet in disgust, I saw my Caged Booties from Bebe staring back at me longingly. I decided that today, I would finally let those booties see the light of day. Trying to find the right outfit to pair with these shoes is definitely tough. I debated between several short dresses but ultimately chose a cute black satin romper that I bought at F21 last year (when rompers were actually in style!). I decided that I would get a bit more wear out of this romper even though it had probably already passed the peak of its fashion trend. Since it is strapless, I added on a black blazer that I had recently found at Urban Outfitters to tone down the look a little. I think (hope!) that the look worked overall. I wanted to keep the booties as the star of the show, and since the caged booties were already pretty crazy, I decided to fore go any accessories.
The shoes did garner quite a bit of attention. I actually had a woman ask me if she could take a pictures of my shoes as I was checking out this Mexican street fair!

I love this outfit, it would be perfect for a night out. I do take some risks from time to time but a lot of the time I chicken out and just wear what I am used to.
I don't take too many risks these days as it's usually just dinner and a movie for me 😛 You look great, it would be a risk for me just to attempt to walk in those LOL!! That's awesome that someone wanted to take your picture, such a celebrity!

lol, I think that woman thought I was ridiculous so took a picture. she asked me how I could possibly walk in those things too. 🙂 my dad actually thought i was dressing up for halloween!
