I grew up as a tomboy. There was nothing better than an afternoon spent exploring the woods, climbing trees, and catching frogs in our neighborhood pond. I almost always had a scabbed knee and I can’t remember a single time I voluntarily wore a dress. Oh, how times have changed. Ratty jeans have changed into frilly skirts, tennis shoes have changed into high heels, and I’m still putting on scar cream to fade out those leftover scars.
Nothing brings out the feminine side of a girl better than lace. I’m loving the lace front detail to the dress and even the pseudo lace detailing on the tights. I don’t think I could wear any more lace if I tried! Yes, it’s true. The tomboy has left the building. Enter the era of the “girly girl”. (Is that what you call it? There’s gotta be a better name for that…^_^)
