Thank you so much to everyone who commented on my post from yesterday! It really means a lot to me to have your support as I go through with this change in my life right now and I appreciate all of the suggestions too. I’m currently thinking about putting Dylan into school at least part-time as he’s almost 2 and I think the social interaction would be really good for him and he would actually learn more from being around other kids. And so I put on a pretty little floral cutout dress to make a good impression as I went to visit one of the local Montessori schools that I’m considering (Alcuin School, in case you’re wondering). I love the mirrored floral print of this dress and the half sleeves make it possible to wear even on its own without feeling self-conscious about bare arms! It was a bit breezy today so I did add this bright orange swing jacket on top. While I previously have reserved this jacket for fall, it was nice to pull it out again for a spring remix!
Meanwhile, it’s time for the weekly Color Brigade link-up! This week I’m so happy to have Brooke from Convenient Style co-hosting with me. This girl knows exactly how to pull off that ‘effortless chic’ look so be sure to check her out!

It's an old dress from last summer so unfortunately it's not available anymore. Maybe they'll come out with something similar though this year!
That dress is beautiful! The lace/cut out pattern is so pretty. Congrats on the big change! It can be scary, but it is always so worth it in the end!
