Paisley. I never thought I’d be wearing paisley. Years ago, I thought paisley was a pattern reserved for drapes and casino carpeting. It was only after seeing Jean rock a paisley dress awhile back that my opinions changed. Since then, I’ve always kept my eyes peeled for the perfect paisley piece to add to my closet.
Then the 4th of July weekend happened. I took Wednesday off from work and did some shopping. Oh glorious shopping! Shopping trips are rare these days as my time is busier now with Dylan and we’re usually off at the park instead of off at the mall (not complaining, but still…). Wednesday, though, our nanny came over and I spent 2 glorious hours at the mall — by myself, just zoning out and picking my way through clothes. Retail therapy at its finest, I tell you.
Anyways, luck was on my side and I saw this beautiful paisley skirt on LOFT’s clearance racks for 60% off. This skirt was meant to be.

P.S. In case you missed it:

It was Jean's dress that also launched my paisley cravings 🙂 This skirt is lovely on you and fantastic that you found it on sale!

Such a pretty paisley skirt! Looks so nice with the plain black tee 🙂
Away From The Blue
you look lovely!
Love the pattern of your skirt!
How long can you walk in those shoes? I feel like I could maybe take 10 steps….
i work at a desk job during the day so i don't do a whole lot of walking. these shoes have a good platform so they're not as tall as they look. i've also had a good bit of practice walking in tall heels so it's not quite as bad. 🙂
Such a pretty find at 60% off??? It surely was your day, girl!! You are looking prettier than ever! 🙂
Pretty girl, your heels are amazing!
