I love the look of peplum for giving that feminine flair but I’ve realized that I’ve ventured away from it as the weather became cooler. Somehow I got it in my head that the ruffled trim couldn’t be layered other tops over it and well, that just didn’t work very well versatility’s sake or for staying warm. Today, I said to heck with it and layered my blazer with this peplum top! Adding the Zara tartan scarf was like the icing on the cake.

That's the attitude! lol … It does look great, I'd never thought of layering it under a coat or blazer, but you've proven me so wrong! It actually looks fabulous, love how the scarf gives the look a wintery touch! Great job!

A feminine flair is absolutely right about peplum. I think it creates a beautiful waist for those of us boyish body types. Lovely outfit. Really enjoy the layering you put together.

I was just thinking the other day how much I missed my peplums with my belly 🙁 I love the idea of layering them! I think you have the right approach. They do seem to need to be on their own, but your outfit looks great! I love your scarf!
