Chevron is one of my favorite patterns! I have long wanted to add something in this print`to my wardrobe but just never found the right item. When I saw this cute White Plum dress in such a vibrant pink, I knew it was it. The classic shift style is perfectly casual yet still polished as I spent my day taking Dylan to the library for story time followed by playtime at the park in the afternoon (changing into these flats though!). On its own, the dress is a bit too blousy on me, but a skinny belt easily cinched it in to create some shape. Gold shoes and accessories added the finishing touches. Meanwhile, I also met with my career counselor this afternoon and went over the results of my assessments. Turns out that my strongest interest is entrepreneurial and I’m a bit more extroverted than I thought! I have a packet of information to go through and lots to think about in the next few days , but overall I’m really happy with the way things are progressing! I’m not in a rush to dive into anything new at the moment, but it does feel good to come out of this fog of uncertainty about my future. Something that my counselor mentioned today that really struck a chord with me is that this process is really just finding what I want to do for the next phase in my life. It doesn’t have to be forever and it could be totally different than what I’ve done in the past. The majority of people will have 5 different jobs in their lifetime and it’s just finding something that suits who I am and my life priorities in this chapter of my life.

I love the pink and chevron and good luck with the next phase of your life. Your counselor is right, the next step isn't your final step and doesn't have to last 20 yrs.
What a cute dress! I've been crushing on chevron for quite some time as well – glad you finally found the perfect piece!
