Pink Coat + Black Floral Dress

Valentine’s Day is around the corner so I’m starting the first in a series of outfits that will give you some ideas for that special day!  Pink is one of my favorite colors and is a shade I naturally gravitate towards this time of year, so I can’t wait to share a few of my favorite looks with you!  This particular look is all about the coat.  This pink wool coat from Jean Kaori will definitely have you turning heads with its elegant silhouette and pretty pastel pink color.  I love the funnel collar as I find it adds a more upscale vibe and is perfect for keeping my neck warm too on those days I don’t have a scarf.  The subtle flare hem gives it a hint of playfulness while the top bust area is close fitting for a streamlined look.  Even better, Jean Kaori specializes in petite-friendly clothing so if you’ve struggled to find a good-fitting coat for your smaller frame, definitely check out her collection (the cropped moto jacket from Jean Kaori I styled here previously if you’re curious)!

As for the dress, I love the bright pink flowers on this dress.  The dress is sheer so I layered a cami underneath.  I love that it has long sleeves which balance out the shorter hemline and make it fitting for cooler weather.
