I have a weakness for polka dots and was excited when I spotted this maternity sweater in the fun black and white print. The sweater is super stretchy and while it covers my 39-week bump nicely, I’m hoping it’ll also be a great piece to wear postpartum, especially during those early weeks when by body will still be going through lots of changes and I just need something soft and forgiving. I doubled up on the polka dots and layered the sweater over another white polka-dotted shirt. The mix of prints is subtle and given the monochromatic pairing, the combination played off nicely and was perfect for a cozy weekend look!
As for a bump update, I hit the 39-week mark on Sunday and it’s crazy to think that at this point in my first pregnancy I would have been holding a 2-day old newborn! Baby girl is still moving around quite a bit in there and while I have had a few strong contractions here and there, there hasn’t been anything consistent. From my sonogram a couple weeks ago, I also learned that the baby is sunny-side up, so I’ve been working on a few positions to encourage her to turn around (I’m bouncing on a big exercise ball as we speak!). Crossing my fingers she’ll decide to do a little spin before deciding to come out!

Oooooh this is so exciting!!! I can't believe you're almost done already! Here's hoping that little sweetie turns herself around and you get plenty of rest until she makes her debut!
Could you be any cuter!?! Love the polka dot mix!!
Highly recommend finding a Chiropractor who specializes in Webster Technique. Adjustments not only feel amazing while pregnant, but it's a great way to naturally allow the babe to find the right position!
I love your sunglasses and the polka dots are great! All the best for your second 🙂

Thanks!! I actually have been seeing a chiro who does Webster and it's been amazing! She adjusted my sacrum and round ligaments last week to get baby to turn and I have another appt tomorrow. Let's hope it works!
Love the double polka dots! 🙂 You're so close to the end too, woo-hoo how exciting!
Hopefully baby does flip soonish, and stay put before her arrival! 🙂 I was chatting with one of the ladies in one of my mother's groups, she had a breech baby and the midwife at the hospital was doing all kinds of techniques while she was in the birthing suite to get baby to turn. It worked and her little boy turned just before his arrival, so it's never too late for them to do a little bit of wiggling around in there! 🙂
