Happy New Year!!  I can’t believe another year is behind us but I am so ready for a fresh start.  2018 brought me lots of new opportunities but it was also a year filled with new challenges.  In my professional career, I handled all the implementation work for my company’s largest client to date and also managed a team of people underneath me.  It’s been amazing to see not only my project go live to completion but even more satisfying to see those on my team grow in their own right.  My team is expanding even more in the new year, and I could not be more excited to see where it will lead us.  Last year was also a year that I kicked off with a renewed focus on myself as I repaired my diastasis recti with a tummy tuck surgery and am feeling stronger than ever as I reach for my new fitness goals.

As 2019 kicks off, I’m feeling inspired and motivated for an exciting year to come.  I’ve been in the blogging arena for over 8 years now (crazy, right?!), and it’s been incredible seeing how this space has changed and evolved in such a short amount of time.  I’m hoping to make better use of Instagram stories and will definitely be sharing more try-ons, sales, and just candid clips of my life behind-the-scenes.

I vacillated on what to share for this first post of the new year but ultimately decided to post this cute mommy-and-me twinning look that I shot right before the Christmas holiday.  It’s so bittersweet to realize just how fast my kids are growing up these days so I’m also reminding myself to be more intentional in my time spent with my family.  Mei absolutely LOVES when she can twin with me so I’m definitely taking advantage of these moments and am praying that they’ll never end!
