I was inspired by Kendi’s recent outfit and decided to recreate the look while putting my own spin on it. My red pants have been neglected a bit lately, as has my chantilly lace dress, so today was the perfect opportunity to put the two together! The lace top just seems like the perfect pairing to soften up the bold red pants, doesn’t it? I was afraid that the dress would make the pants look bulky after being tucked in, but surprisingly enough it worked out! Looks like I have a new lace top I can remix. 🙂
I finally finished off my look with a fun leopard print cross-body bag. I love that it’s just the right touch of leopard for us animal-print phobes out there!

I guess I'm going to be late to the party on this look – I've been wanting to wear my lace top with my red pants for a while, but it's been so humid pants are the last thing I want to put on.

it's a combination of both for me, actually. for those items that i see on the website that i REALLY like, i'll order online cause i know the chances of me finding it in store aren't high. otherwise if i'm only lukewarm about it, i just put it on my wishlist and look for it in store. 🙂
