When I first noticed this skirt, I was drawn to its funky retro floral print. I love the mustard yellow and cobalt blue combination as it feels modern yet still old school. The skirt may actually be intended to stop at the knee, but it’s a perfect mid-length midi skirt for me and personally I think I prefer it this way! I kept the outfit casual by pairing with a chambray but glammed it up just a tiny bit with gold heels and a blingy statement necklace. I really like this look! The chambray shirt is perfect for summer – lightweight enough for outdoors but long sleeved to help with the air-conditioning inside! And the colors of that skirt are gorgeous.

oh that's too bad! i actually had another chambray shirt from Victoria's Secret before this and it didn't work out either. I found this one on a unexpected trip into Urban Outfitters and was so glad I decided to stop in! keep looking! 🙂
