It was Casual Friday again at work and I decided to switch up my typical fitted shirt + pencil skirt combo by switching in this loose chambray shirt instead. I wanted to do something different from the usual skirt tuck and decided to try a little knot tying. I haven’t tied my shirt in a knot since the early 90s when I used to also wear scrunchies in my hair. Casual Friday might as well be Retro Friday today. I’ve now gone retro two weeks in a row…

you know, coincidentally enough, I was reading this other post today: http://bit.ly/qSh1WR and she was also wearing a similar outfit. So I was comparing the 2 and I was thinking that how jennifer tucked in the back fabric made the ensemble looked a lot cleaner. I also noticed that 9to5chic also tucks in the back instead of letting it loose as shown on your 2nd picture. So that's the first suggestion I would make. and since you're wearing this to work, I'd add some kind of cami underneath, mb white, mb nude even so that you're not technically showing midriff while in a professional environment, casual Friday or not. but for casual weekend wear, I say you're most welcome to bare some skin.

oh but i forgot to say that I do like seeing this Limited skirt on both you and PLG. I think it was great that you two had a different but similar crochet skirt than the rest. Shows everyone, there are always options out there.
