Back in the day, I could spend hours online and at Sephora looking at different beauty products and discovering new items to try. Now, my days as a mom are non-stop and I find that I just don’t have that kind of time anymore. When I heard about the Glossybox subscription service and how it delivers 5-6 high-end, luxury beauty products from popular and up-and-coming brands straight to your door every month, it sounded perfect!
I was excited to open my October box and it was filled with some amazing goodies with 4 out of 5 being full-size!
- Tarte Cosmetics Power Pigment in Flush – received full size $24 / 0.04 oz
- Proganix Volume Root Boost Finish + Body Builder – received full size $11.99 / 5.1 fl oz
- Nails Inc. Westminster Bridge Matte Top Coat – received full size $10 / 0.33 fl. oz
- Vince Camuto Amore Eau de Parfum – received travel size, full size $78 / 3.4 oz
- Sesha Botanical Hydro Mask – received full size $9 / one piece
- BONUS: Hello Fresh $40 gift card
Tarte Power Pigment in Flush (buy)
I was most excited to see this Tarte lip pigment in my box as I’ve been wanting some new lip colors and have always thought highly of Tarte Cosmetics. Inspired by their popular cheek stains, Tarte designed this power pigment as part lip color and part lip treatment — the creamy formula is made up of vitamins, shea butter, and a hint of mint. While I was initially intimidated by the bright fuschia shade, the color applied more like a sheer lip tint with a beautiful berry hue that was quite flattering! The application was smooth and the color was buildable; I don’t have anything like this in my makeup collection now so I was glad to have it to wear on those days when I needed a little bit more color on my lips!
Proganix Volume Root Boost Finish + Body Builder (buy)
My hair is really fine and thin so anything that gives my hair volume is always welcome! This Proganix spray promises to add body and volume with its blend of soy protein and caffeine. I’ll admit that when I first tried out this spray on dry hair, I actually wasn’t very impressed. It was only then reading the suggestions on the back of the bottle to use it on wet hair. On wet hair, this product really delivers! The spray does have a bit of a scent that I found to be a bit overpowering at times, but I’m also super sensitive to smells in my pregnancy right now so it may not be an issue otherwise. 🙂
Sesha Botanical Hydro Mask (buy)
Face masks are kinda an obsession of mine and my skin has been desperately in need of some TLC lately. This sheet mask delivers extracts of moisturizing cucumber as well as green tea and marigold included for anti-inflammatory properties. I left the mask on for a full 30 minutes (recommended 15-30 minutes) and after taking it off my skin definitely felt refreshed and hydrated!
Vince Camuto Amore Eau de Parfum (buy)
I had no idea Vince Camuto had a fragrance line so it was fun to see a little sample included in my box. This perfume was designed to be both flirty and sensual as it stars fresh-cut flowers and fragrant fuits atop a base of comforting cashmere. Pregnancy has made me super sensitive to any and all smells, so I personally couldn’t handle this much of this perfume. Adrian did say that it smelled nice though so I’ll have to try it again once this pregnancy is over!
Nails Inc. Westminster Bridge Matte Top Coat (buy)
I also received a full-size bottle of this matte top coat and while I haven’t had a chance to try this yet, I love the idea of a matte top coat to change up a polish color. Nails Inc is a British brand that I’ve heard good reviews of before so I’m anxious to see how this top coat works!
Overall, I was really impressed with my Glossybox products! I also really like the fact that you can give the team feedback regarding your samples and with each successive box they will continue to tweak your items to match your preferences.
Considering that a Glossybox subscription is only $21 per month (or less depending on your subscription plan), this box was definitely worth the money (the Tarte power pigment in itself already paid for the box in this case!). There’s also currently a $3 cash back promotion through ShopAtHome making this an even better value — I’m thinking holiday gifts?? 😉

Disclosure: I was provided with a sample Glossybox for review purposes only but all opinions are my own.
P.S. In case you missed it:
- Striped Moto + Floral Pumps – A casual chic look for a day spent in the bay area!
I have not tried any of these products before but I love the packaging of the perfume! So beautiful and romantic!

Sounds like a pretty solid box! Do you know if they're available outside the US?
Unfortunately Glossybox is still only shipping within the continental US right now. Hopefully soon though!
