When I’m kicking back at home, I love wearing comfortable loungewear and have been known to hang out in a baggy t-shirt/sweatshirt and yoga pants all day long …and it’s possible my loungewear even transitions into my pajamas at times — don’t judge! 😉
I was recently introduced to Les Lunes, a French designed lingerie/loungewear brand whose items are made of organic bamboo. To give you a little history about my previous personal experience with bamboo, I first learned about the wonders of bamboo when I was shopping around for new bed sheets about 1.5 years ago. As I was immersed in details like Egyptian cotton and thread count, I stumbled across a set of bamboo sheets with really great reviews. Upon receiving these sheets, I instantly knew what the buzz was about: soft as silk, cool in the summer, warm in the winter, and pill resistant too! You really can’t ask for more.
You can only imagine my delight when I learned that Les Lunes created lingerie/loungewear made of bamboo!
I was particularly curious about this Deliciously Bamboo Long-Sleeve Tee as I’ve been needing a nice shirt to lounge in now that the weather’s cooler. This shirt has quickly become a new favorite of mine. I love the soft silky fabric and the fact that it doesn’t cling to my body and drapes very well. I’ve worn it alone when at home and have thrown it on top of yoga tanks when going to/from the studio too — it’s absolutely perfect!
Next up is this Constance Nursing Cami (Les Lunes has a full line of maternity wear in case you’re wondering!). As I’m still breastfeeding Dylan in the evenings and mornings, I like wearing tops that can snap down to allow for easy nursing while still being comfortable to sleep in. This nursing cami is also perfect for those newly postpartum moms who don’t want anything clingy yet still want something flattering. The empire waist is both forgiving and stylish at the same time. The torso is also cut a bit longer and reaches down to the hip instead of ending at the belly button — a huge plus in my book!
The last item I sampled is this simple black Emma Camisole. I’ve learned to become pickier about camis over the years and look for styles that are thin to avoid creating bulk yet still thick enough to provide coverage. This Emma cami is just what I was looking for. Add in the fact that the bamboo fabric is super breathable and huggable, I don’t have to worry about sweating or my clothes shifting under the layers either!
Les Lunes truly has an incredible line of loungewear and lingerie that is perfect for those who want comfort, style, and functionality in their clothes. Les Lunes’ mission is to empower women with luxurious, feel-good clothing that gives her the confidence the change the world. Now that’s something that I will always support!
You can find Les Lunes on LesLunes.com and on Amazon.
