Is it just me or does it seem like your kids are constantly outgrowing their clothes? It seems like every 2-3 months we go through a phase where pants seem a little shorter and tops seem a little tighter. Sometimes certain clothes are only worn once before they’re too small, and I’m always a little dismayed at the cost per wear of some of their outfits. With a full-time job and a home to take care of too, I also just don’t have time to shop for the kids as I would like. I was so excited to learn about Runchkins, a kids’ clothing subscription service that delivers stylish kids clothing (handpicked by a stylist!) straight to your door. And, to solve the problem of kids outgrowing their clothes so quickly, Runchkins even has a buy-back policy where they promise to purchase every item when you no longer need them!
The way it works is simple:
1. Style It. Create a style profile for your child. You can choose your child’s favorite colors and prints as well as specify pieces to avoid (I opted out of overalls and hoodies for Dylan). You can also select the style you prefer, either kiddie or mini-adult. Since I love dressing my kids as little mini-me’s, the mini adult option was perfect for me! Next you’re presented with a few sample outfits and can pick the ones that suit your kid’s style (e.g. playful, edgy, preppy, casual). You can even hare your social media handles if you’d like your Runchkins stylist to get a peek at their current style! Lastly, choose how many outfits you want (4-6) and how often you want them. Runchkins has one time, monthly, and seasonal options so you don’t have to commit if you don’t want to or just get a box every quarter when the weather changes! There is no subscription requirement or membership fee. Just pay $20 to cover the stylist fee for each box and that’s it!
When you place your order, in a few days you’ll receive an email with a preview of the Runchkins box you’ll be receiving and modify if you like! I loved getting a peek at what the stylist had chosen and did swap out a few items that seemed like it would be too hot for our Texas summer. You can also choose to update sizing info or even change the ship date if something changes in your schedule.
2. Love It. Your box arrives at your doorstep and you have 5 days to try on everything at home to decide what to keep and what to send back! I love that even little accessories like bow ties (we got a matching one for Adrian and Dylan!), hair bows, and shoes (Kennedy received a pair of gold moccasins!) are included. Everything is free shipping and returns with a prepaid label included in each box.
3. Resell It. And now for the best part! When your little one outgrows the clothes that you bought, you can sell it back to Runchkins for store credit. Even if it’s a shirt that lost the battle between strawberry puree and blue finger paint, Runchkins will take it back and give you credit based on its condition!
This checkered top from Andy & Evan was my favorite and I just love the star print on the sleeves!
I loved this yellow dress from JoJo that they sent for Mei — the seersucker fabric is perfect for summer and the floral embroidery makes it look so unique. The gold moccasins also went perfectly with her outfit and Mei just loved wearing them too!
Mei also picked out this gingham romper from her box and the shoulder ties are such a stylish detail!
That plaid bow tie just kills me! Doesn’t Dylan look like such a little gentleman? (Don’t mind the tattoos on his hands — we were getting ready for his superhero birthday party! 🙂
A glimpse at the outfits that came in Dylan’s toddler boy box:
2 dress shirts (the white polo has the cutest hat and mustache print!)
2 t-shirts (Dylan loved the yellow one with vintage cars)
3 shorts (the fabrics were all super soft with elastic waistbands as requested)
1 pants (these were convertible to capris as they had buttons on the side to keep them cuffed — great for summer!)
plaid bowtie
A glimpse at what came in Mei’s toddler girl box:
2 dresses (love the yellow seersucker one and the navy one had cute pink birds!)
2 rompers (the pink heart romper had a blue gingham lining made for such a nice detail!)
gold moccasins
I was so impressed with the items I received for Dylan and Mei! The stylist nailed their style profile and it was so convenient to have these stylish clothes delivered to my door. I loved the fact that there was no commitment to buy and the $20 stylist fee would be credited against any items that I did decide to keep. For more savings, I could save 10% if I kept the entire box or earn 10% if I chose to order monthly or seasonally!
Want to try out Runchkins? Sign up here and you’ll get $20 off purchases from your first box! You can even refer your own friends and earn $20 credit into your account too — there’s no limit to the number of credits you can earn so share away!
Let me know what you think of Runchkins and I hope you’ll try out their service!
This post is sponsored by Runchkins but all opinions are honest and my own. I was lent sample boxes for Dylan and Mei for photoshoot and review purposes only.

I love these clothes. Great designs and they look very high quality. Pricy though. Like most high quality, awesome kids stuff.

it is a little pricier but Runchkins also guarantees that they’ll buy back the clothes too once your kids outgrow them! plus, it saves so much time and energy as you don’t need to worry about figuring out outfits and shopping on your own! 🙂
