^^ Taking advantage of his interest in letters, I also bought some foam alphabet and number pieces that he can play with at bath time. We’ve had some ups and downs with his enjoyment of bath time, but since we’ve introduced these letters, he actually asks to take a bath multiple times a day now!
^^ I took Dylan to an interview at a Montessori school a couple weeks ago and he breezed through all of the puzzles that went through age 2 and even some for age 3 that they gave him. It was then that I realized most of our puzzles at home were probably below his level. I went out looking for some puzzles that would actually challenge him and picked up this shape sequence sorting set. It’s been just the right challenge for him and he spends about 5-10 minutes working on it at a time. And can I just say how cute tongue of his is?! I know I used to stick out my tongue when I was little whenever I was focusing on something so it’s funny to see him do it too. My boy. 🙂
^^ Every now and then I’ll catch Dylan reading quietly on his own in the glider we have in his room. He’ll point to the pictures and say the names or sounds of certain things and it’s just the cutest thing.
^^ I’m thinking about transitioning Dylan to a toddler bed soon and added a pillow to his crib a couple weeks ago. I couldn’t believe how much of a difference it’s made as Dylan will actually request to go into his crib. Previously, we had a bedtime routine that took anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour, but now he asks to go into the crib at around 30 minutes. Who would’ve thought right?
^^ And last but not least, we had tons of park time this week as the weather has been amazing lately. This kid could spend all day outdoors if we let him. 🙂
^^ This is the facial expression Dylan has when he says “ball” — it comes out like “boal”. It’s a deep throaty sound he makes and it’s pretty funny to hear in person!
^^ My boys. I love them so much. <3
Hop you’re having a great weekend and thanks for stopping by! 🙂

Two Hearts One Roof
These pictures are all so cute! I especially like the last one 🙂
I enjoy reading your blog very much. I can't wait to see what toddler bed you would get for your boy. I also have a boy and have been searching for a great and affordable toddler bed but so far no luck. I always turn to you/your blog when I need things for my boy. Your review and suggestions are very helpful. thank you
thanks! I'm actually thinking that we'll just be converting his existing crib into a toddler bed. i think he still has at least a few more months left where he'll still fit in his current small mattress. i'll let you know when we do end up upgrading to a twin size bed for him though!
Those are some really cute pictures! It must be really nice to get to enjoy time with Dylan than in front of a computer at work!
