Happy Friday!! I’m in Portland right now enjoying a mini vacation with Adrian but wanted to share some cute pics from a few days ago. Weekends are cherished around here and I always look forward to catching up with the kids. I picked up some new toddler shoes for the kids as Mei actually needed a pair of athletic shoes and Dylan has just been growing like a weed and outgrew his old pair. I love when I can find mini-adult styles for my kids and Saucony is a line that is both stylish and functional! Dylan’s first reaction after putting on his shoes was to run around the house proclaiming he was “faster than Flash!”. And Mei, well she just loved her toddler shoes so much that she didn’t want to take them off! A visit to the park ended up being the perfect way to let the kids really put their new kicks to the test!
It’s funny how a good pair of toddler shoes can give the kids an extra boost in confidence. It was exciting to watch Mei climb up on her own and even she did a little happy dance when she reached the top without needing any help! The Saucony’s have a sole that is lightweight and flexible, great for Mei since she is on the smaller side (takes after me!). I can also tell that they’re great for helping both my kids have some extra grip when playing on the playscapes!
Dylan can be pretty rough with his shoes (he plays hard!) so I’m always glad when I can find durable toddler shoes that can keep up with him. Even after a messy session in the sandpit, I was glad that I could just dust off his shoes and they were back to looking like new! Dylan also has wider feet so I’m always glad when I can find a pair that are comfortable for him. Plus, the velcro closure makes it easy for him to put on by himself!
How cute are these little ones in their matching sneaks? It’s rare that I can get them to match so it made my heart happy! : )
Be sure to give the Saucony Kids line of toddler shoes a try — they’re running a free express shipping promotion right now for all orders so you can get your kids outfitted for fall!
