Well this week has turned out a bit differently than I expected… Can you believe I ended up getting picked for jury duty?? I’ll be in court through the end of next week as one of 12 jurors on a case! Out of the four times that I’ve had to appear for jury duty, it’s the first time that I’ve been picked and it’s been quite the experience. The case has ended up being pretty interesting and the back and forth objections from each side has actually made it somewhat entertaining. And I don’t know if it’s just me, but one of the lawyers actually reminds me of Tom Cruise, lol!
Meanwhile this trench coat is a new favorite and I just love the scalloped details. The fit is petite-friendly and it was actually a hard choice deciding between this grey color or the rose blush color! The look is classic yet feminine; trench coats for me are an investment piece where I pay particular attention to fit and style since I know it’s something that will get years of wear.
