A rare day of warmer weather made me break out some soft neutral colors. I was trying to figure out some more outfit ideas with my gray LOFT skirt, and I really like out this combination worked out! I am truly convinced that this skirt is probably one of the most versatile pieces in my wardrobe. Don’t you love go-to pieces like that when you’re still fuzzy brained in the morning and can’t think of anything to wear? 🙂
I’ll keep it short for today. Wedding planning has actually taken it out of me. Who knew florists were so expensive…
Meanwhile, stay tuned for the launch of Petite Fashion Challenge #4 tonight at 7pm CST! I can’t wait to show you guys something fancy. Oh, and there will be more faux fur.

So excited for your PFC #4!!!!
I love go to pieces too – I think I need more of them because I'm getting lazier and lazier to figure outfits out in the mornings 😛
I really like the neutral tones of this outfit! The flower necklace really makes it unique and beautiful.
You know that i love your classic style. This outfit is impeccable. thanks for your comment on my blog.

I love this sweater!! It is so cute! Belting that sweater would probably look amazing!
Kileen I LOVE everything from the ruffle cardigan, your skirt to your shoes!! I have a weak spot for anything ruffle, will definitely check that cardifan.
Please keep me posted about your wedding prep, I love hearing about wedding stuff 🙂
@Nelah i found this cardigan about a month ago at UO when it was on clearance for $10. not sure if it's still available, but maybe it'll show up!
and i'm actually going to pick up my wedding dress tonight as the alterations are all finished up! so excited to see it now that it's supposed to fit!
@SparklSmil oh i totally agree that belting it will look really amazing. that's next on my list!
I am so jealous with the warm weather you have. It's snowing right now where I live. Ugh! I have the exact same skirt and I love it too 🙂 I took some photos last night for PFC#4. I wasn't 100% happy with them but it's too late to retake. I can't wait to see yours and everyone else. When is the date? I would love to hear your wedding details. Have a great day!
@PetiteLittleGirl we're having abnormally warm weather right now. it's so nice but it's only until Sunday.
and I actually had to rush home last night to take pictures for PFC #4. I think I barely was able to catch the sun before it went down!
and May 7th is the date!! I can't believe it's right around the corner….
Another great outfit!
This morning I could not figure out what to wear, nor could I think what my go-to pieces are lol I'm having one of those days 🙂
@Lilly oh i totally understand. i'm actually considering maybe pre-planning my outfits now! just like my mom used to lay out my school clothes. maybe i'm becoming my mother… :
Love the outfit! It's super chic!

The bright colors in your outfit looks so cheery despite it being a winter outfit! Love the ruffley cardigan and nice bold flower necklace. =0D
You look so cute!! I still love the red color on you on the last post!!!
I agree with the florist thing, we didnt use any flowers at all at our wedding, except for my bouquet, and my mom even made the bouquet for me, save us loads of money

Yayy, I LOVE UO! =)
You're such a good blogger, you post nearly every day!! Who takes your pictures for you, or do you set it up with a tripod?
-M
@my favorite pink thanks! i take my own pictures with my trusty tripod and camera remote. and i LOVE posting my daily outfits so i make time for it. 🙂
That skirt fits you perfectly! I don't have good luck with LOFT skirts for some reason! Great outfit! The colors suit you well! 🙂
I am impressed! You take your own photos daily. I saw in another comment that you have gotten your wedding dress?!?! How exciting, I'm picking mine up the 23rd! What are your plans with the florist? I originally wanted to save money and go with paper flowers, like http://www.marthastewart.com/article/paper-roses but my friend's mom was like no way, your small frame and paper flowers are going to make you look like a child and offered to make bouquets for me and my attendants. Good luck planning!

@Dani D. congratulations on your engagement, Dani!! wedding planning is pretty fun. i actually ended up booking a florist last week. my mom is really big on flowers so there's no way she would settle for anything less than spectacular flowers. good thing they're helping fund that portion!
best of luck with your wedding planning!!
