Hello and happy Monday!  I’m trying to get back on a regular posting schedule over here after what seems like a crazy first half of 2021.  Work life is calming down a bit, the kids are out of school for the summer, and it even seems like some semblance of pre-covid normalcy is returning.  If you’re like me and lived most days in either loungewear or athleisurewear, then you know the struggle now that we gotta put on form-fitting clothes again!

Spanx recently released a denim line and omg, it’s good.  I wasn’t sure what to expect when it came to Spanx jeans — would these jeans be like jeggings where it basically looks like a jeans design on leggings?  Or would they be more like regular jeans but stretchy?  Well, turns out it’s a little bit of both but honestly neither at the same time!

Spanx Jeans Review

Spanx jeans are a pull-on style, kinda like leggings, and have a high-waisted fit that reaches right at my belly button.  There’s no fly zipper or button, but looking at the jeans, you would never know!  The perk of this style is that you have a subtle compression for tummy control without the uncomfortable zipper or button digging into your skin.  The fabric also stays smooth so you don’t have to worry about any lumps or bulges peeking their way through either!

As for the backside, I loved the way it lifted the booty and flattered my curves!  The back pocket placement was spot-on and because these are real pockets, it really gives the look of actual jeans!

Being only 5′ tall and having short legs, I especially appreciate that Spanx offers petite sizing!  I took my usual XS Petite size and the length of these jeans is absolutely perfect as-is — something that rarely happens!  The ankle length fit makes these jeans perfect for pairing with cute shoes that you wanna show off and in my opinion gives the jeans as a whole a sophisticated, chic vibe.

I especially love the lighter vintage wash for spring but am already thinking I need to snag the white pair for summer as well as the darker wash pair for fall / winter!  These jeans are a Spanx bestseller for good reason and already I’m constantly reaching for these jeans whenever I need to head out.
