Check out my new wedding shoes!! If you remember, the original plan was to wear these blue suede shoes (because I needed “something blue”), but after a few dance lessons I soon started to get scared that I would fall during one of my turns. And so even though I still practiced and practiced away in those teetering heels, I also started looking on the side for something a little more turn-able. When these sparkly little pumps showed up on HauteLook one day, I decided to take a chance and order them. And…. guess what? Sequin shoes for the win! These babies turn like nobody’s business. And with a major sparkle too. 🙂
I also tried out a new hairstyle today! It’s loosely interpreted from a YouTube posted by Wendy (check out her blog — can we say blogger crush?!). Having the bangs out of my face and the hair off my neck was such a nice change of pace! Can you tell that the Texas heat has already kicked in? 🙂

I'm just a tad taller.. 5'3". I'm very thick and in almost all areas of my body, particularly my upper body (arms to be specific). I've always been this way.. I absolutely hate my arms. They are by far my biggest trouble area and the region is one of the toughest to make fat budge. Oh wells.. it's how God made me. =) I've learned to accept it as long as I maintain my health through continuous exercise and a healthy diet. I actually do a ton of strength training now because my goal this year is to gain a lot of muscle. Haha I guess that means I'm embracing my body type! =P

I love those shoes, and they great for your wedding. A friend of mine put little a blue heart on the bottom of each shoes for her something blue with sticky crystals. Then inside the hearts were initals so for you it woudl say "A+K". I thought it was cute, and fun.

At first I thought the dress and necklace was one, then I realized they were separate! I have a dress thats really similar but with the necklace so its like a halter top? Bought in TW last year. But I like how you added the belt, I'm going to try that with mine!
