I took these photos right as the sun was setting so apologies that they’re a little grainier than normal — I’ve been working longer hours lately to try and catch up from lost time when I was out on jury duty! Easter is around the corner and I always use it as an excuse to get dolled up in a pretty spring Easter dress. I’m in love with this pretty pastel blue one from J.Jill. I fell in love with the floral bouquet print but when I first tried on the dress, I found the shift style too loose and shapeless on me. Thankfully, with an easy tie of a belt, the Easter dress transformed into a fit and flare style that was petite-friendly and flattering! In full disclosure, I’m actually wearing a waist trainer underneath this dress as I’ve been experimenting with how it looks and works (not paid or sponsored in any way). Let me know if you’d like a review and I’ll be sure to share my thoughts on it in another blog post!
Meanwhile, did I mention this Easter dress has pockets? They’re somewhat hidden as the opening is on the side seam but they were such a happy surprise when I discovered them — they’ve definitely come in handy when I’ve needed quick storage for the kids’ knick knacks whenever we’ve been on the go! The dress is made out of woven linen so I have found it prone to wrinkles after a few hours of wear. I am planning on spraying it with a some of this wrinkle releaser next time though as I had a friend mention that it works wonders for keeping the wrinkles away!
My obsession with these earrings is real. This is my third pair and I own them in red, pink/orange/navy, and now white. Funny story from the other day — the principal of Mei’s school actually stopped me as I was doing drop-off in the morning to ask where these earrings were from! You can save 25% on these earrings as well as everything on the BaubleBar site right now with code PEOPLE25. Other picks of mine include tassel drop earrings (love the rose gold color), this layered necklace (just bought for myself!), and tassel bracelet set (perfect for summer!).

And this bag! I first noticed this bag a couple months ago and didn’t think anything of it then. But slowly I started seeing it more, and I found I was lacking a nice simple bag for spring / summer that didn’t have a shoulder strap I’d have to fuss with and that would go with everything. It’s crazy how in that short amount of time this bag has reached cult status and I’ve been seeing it everywhere! The bag has been selling out like crazy but I finally found both sizes in stock (I’m carrying the small one which is in stock here while the large size is available here).

I’ve rounded up a few more dresses that would be perfect for Easter (or just spring in general). My faves is definitely this lace blush pink one!

Love the whole look. Especially the shoes. Trying to get use to wearing higher heels again. Have not worn anything but flats since having kids but I love the way they look.
these heels are pretty comfortable as far as high heels go! i don’t wear heels nearly as much now either since having kids but i love how they look especially with dresses! happy easter!

I love your new dress and how it is styled, pretty look for Easter. I need that bag and the orange/navy version of those earrings. I bought the turquoise Sugar Fix version at Target and love them. I want to know more about a waist trainer, what is it? Also, one of these days I have to buy a wrinkle remover.
Hope you all had a great Easter, Kileen.
Thanks You sharing the waist trainer information. https://shop4fun.online
