Florals and stripes have been getting lots of attention from me lately so I figured it was time to change it up and revive a print that I fell in love with this past winter: tartan plaid. Typically a cold-weather print, I wanted to lighten up this plaid skirt and style it for the spring! I paired the skirt with a breezy flutter sleeve top and a pair of metallic pumps to give it a touch of glam. And finally, what would a spring outfit be with a pop of pink? This trench coat is a personal favorite.
Can’t believe the weekend is here already! Happy Friday, y’all!

That plaid skirt is really nice! I like it with the green top, and lovely subtle pattern mixing with the animal print belt 🙂

This is SUCH a cute outfit Kileen! I love the skirt so much!
such a vivid colorful pairing! i try to tune into your blog each day for these classy dressing ideas (moreso because i'm the same height as you- and you make outfits work so well)! being a designer i know how much pain goes into making those pictures so perfect almost postcard-ish; superb visual content, i'm totally hooked 🙂 and did i mention, those shopping links at the bottom are so well organised and helpful, already exhausting my shopping budget. Thanks for sharing the wonderful content.
the pink coat is a superb deal.i'm trying to figure what size to pick for myself. which size are you wearing ?
I'm wearing size Small and it fits perfectly right off the rack!
Also, thank you so much for your kind words on my blog! I do put in quite a bit of time and energy into it and am glad you've found it inspiring and helpful. I'm open to any feedback you might have so always feel free to let me know what you think!
Doing a photo shoot on the weekend is the last thing any working mom wants to do,but is there a chance you could add more to classy weekend-wear maybe?
I tend to go pretty casual on the weekends but still keep it classy (of course!). I'm so glad to hear you enjoy weekend posts as I've been thinking about adding more of those to the mix. Thanks so much for the input!
