I first noticed embroidered jeans making a debut last spring yet it wasn’t really a trend I latched onto until towards the end of last year. When it comes to jeans, I usually go for my basics and the simple skinny jean has been my BFF for years now. Yet all this time I was adding more and more embroidery to other pieces in my closet in the form of dresses, tops, jackets, and even shoes! And so it was probably only a matter of time before a pair of high waisted embroidered jeans caught my eye and I couldn’t say no. 😊
It’s been a few years since I purchased jeans from Express but they’ve caught my attention more lately as they’ve launched their petites line! These high waisted embroidered jeans in size 00 Petite fit me perfectly off the rack and I love that even the distressing hits me right at the knees! (I’m 5′ tall, for reference)! These jeans are also high-waisted and I love that they keep everything sucked in without feeling constricting. Plus, I feel like they actually make my short legs look longer! It’s not often that I find a pair of jeans that I never want to take off but these high waisted embroidered jeans have become that pair (and with 93 reviews and an almost 5 star rating, it seems like they’re a quite a hit!). No doubt you will be seeing these high waisted embroidered jeans here more often and I may already have another outfit planned for them with this red blazer! The pink isn’t too girly and the fit has just enough give to be comfortable yet still fitted enough to give me some curves. I love the open back design and the pop of floral print makes it a great transitional piece into spring! This sweater is an extra 40% off right now and seriously such an amazing deal at only $35.
