Styling Inspiration: White Blazer

I love the look of a crisp white blazer when added to an outfit.  It just gives a sense of polish, doesn’t it?  My two favorite ways of wearing my white blazer are:

1. To tone down a bright outfit:
   When I’m colorblocking with vivid colors, a white blazer can actually help to neutralize the brightness a bit.  The top row of outfits has mainly bright colors paired together and the white blazer really helps to take down the brightness a few notches.

2. To brighten up a dark outfit:
   This point may seem contradictory to the first point, but a white blazer can actually help bring more light to an otherwise dark combination of colors.  Referring to the middle and right pictures on the bottom row, the white blazer here really helps to balance out the darker colors and add a bit of brightness to the face.

   The white suit outfit on the left side of the bottom row doesn’t fit into either of the 2 categories above, but what’s more iconic for summer than a white suit?
