Hi everyone! Adrian and I are back from our long weekend in El Paso. Many great memories were made and I’m so glad Adrian’s (huge!) family was able to meet baby Dylan for the first time. Nonetheless, I am glad to be sleeping in my own bed and to have Dylan back on his schedule again. There’s nothing like time away from home to make you appreciate everything you have.
Right before we left for El Paso, Adrian and I decided to check out some rumored sunflower fields out in North Dallas. Even after having lived here for over 5 years, I never knew that fields like these existed in our own backyard. We were lucky enough to catch the tail end of the sunflower season this year and this is definitely going to become a yearly tradition for us. Sunflower Fields Forever…

We found a field off of Hwy 121 near 75. It's right past the Allen Premium Outlets around Exchange Parkway. It's towards the end of the season but hopefully you can still catch some blooms!
