Lipstick: Jouer Sheer Lipstick in St. Barths (buy – love this shade!)
Sunny, summer-like weather is back (that’s what we get for living in Texas!) so I went with a casual empire-waisted top and boyfriend jeans for a weekend on the town. I actually bought this top years and years ago (long before I ever considered getting pregnant) and am glad I’ve kept it around as it’s perfect to wear now that I have a baby bump to dress for!
Meanwhile, this weekend was a whirlwind! Ours was fun-filled with baby shower activities (for a friend, not mine 🙂 as well as a birthday party for one of Dylan’s classmates. It’s so much fun to see Dylan making friends at school and we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend for getting together and celebrating. We topped it off with some dim sum for brunch on Sunday where Dylan had his favorite “dan-ta” egg custard — he certainly takes after me as he doesn’t care much for birthday cupcakes but absolutes loves his egg custards!
