Yay for weekend! I wore my fun pleated skirt just for the occasion. 🙂
I also tried out a new “smoky” eyeshadow look today. I was inspired after seeing this photo. I think I might need to go a little more shimmery with the silver eyeshadow next time, but I think the matte finish worked better for a work-appropriate daytime look. What do you guys think?

I have been looking for a skirt like that for over a month! The only problem is that I need it in white. 🙁 But it is seriously cute! I love how the colors of your outfit work together!

Petite princess! Love the magenta top and the dark pink pumps. I surely love the pleated skirt. Kileen, you dazzle with beauty yet again. I also love the headband. Even if it was bought at a drugstore, it shows you can look great without having to shop at big-name dealers. Great post!

Great job with the smokey eye, I think the no shimmer works perfectly for the day! Cute head piece, happy weekend!

I thought the skirt was from H&M – it looks a lot like the one that a lot of petite bloggers got. I love the headband and smokey eye on you too – they both look great 😀
it does! this one isn't as sheer and doesn't have a lining. unfortunately
there's no H&M here in TX (yet!) but soon enough. 🙂
How the heck did you score that tshirt for $3?? That has to be one of the lowest heel I've seen you wear…I don't feel complete without heels.
The first thought that popped into my head when I saw the first pic was, "Is she wearing flats?!" Now I see it's a lower-heeled shoe. I think they were the perfect choice with a skirt this length and style. Have a great weekend, Kileen!
Such pretty colors, and I adore the pleated skirt!
the shirt was my Gap steal over the 4th of July! It was already on
clearance, then the entire store was 50% off, and then I had another extra
15% off email coupon. 🙂
and yes, these are some of my lowest heels i own. it did feel weird not to
be wearing my normal 5" stilts, lol.
Goodness just love those heels! What a pretty color
I blame you for getting me obsessed with pleated skirts Kileen! LOL I seriously admire the heck out of you for so many reasons but your self-photography skills are amazing. My fave pic is the 2nd to last one- STUNNING! I have tried and tried using my new lens myself and it just doesn't work. Hubby has to take pics otherwise I am screwed! LOL I wish I lived where there were more places….hehehe The suburbs doesn't really have much:D
oh thank you, Annie!! you're so sweet. i guess i just get lucky with the
self-photography? not sure, lol. but your hubby does an AMAZING job at
taking pictures for you! and i think you've found some amazing locations to
do photoshoots. i love the one where you're by the railroad!
Love the headband and the smokey eye look, Kileen!!

That skirt looks fantastic. The more I see variations of it on fellow bloggers the more I realize I want one! You've done a great job with the color combination – such an effortless look!
I really love how the bright colors pop against the neutral tones of your skirt and bag. Your gray smoky eyes are inspiring me to try something different with my eye makeup. Very pretty! I also really enjoy your self-photos and the variety of shots makes your posts interesting to look at. When do you find the time to take them?

The majority of pictures I take in the morning before work, but if I'm short
on time then I'll do it after work. And thanks for the compliment on my
pics! 🙂
What a great skirt!!! I am so jealous of the things in your closet!!
