September is here and I couldn’t be more excited for some fall fashion! Although living in Texas means that we still have a few more weeks of hot weather ahead of us, I couldn’t help start prepping my wardrobe with some of the latest fall trends. One thing I always look forward to is picking up the September fashion magazines when they hit newsstands as they’re always chock-full of inspiring outfits and new styling ideas!
Vogue and InStyle are always my go-to magazines and I was happy to see that Target is currently running a promotion where if you pick up any 2 magazines, either InStyle, Vogue, or ELLE, you get a $5 Target gift card. The offer is only valid through September 13 though so you’ll wanna hustle!
After thumbing through my 700+ page issue of Vogue and with a gift card burning a hole in my wallet, I couldn’t help but do a little browsing at Target. I noticed this maxi dress first thing and immediately thought it would be perfect for getting me through the summer-fall transition months. Maxis have become a summer wardrobe staple for me and they’re so easily transitioned into cooler weather with the addition of a simple denim jacket. Print mixing is also still on trend this season (hooray!) and the pairing of stripes and floral print in this dress make it absolutely effortless. I also swapped out my light summer bag for a darker navy-colored tote and traded in my cork wedges for a pair of chic croc-leather heels. I love that this look is comfortable for my growing bump yet still allows me to stay fashionable all throughout fall!
