Sandy and I are back again with another On Trend Tuesdays look! The tall, lace-up gladiator sandal has been making an appearance for quite a few summers now and while I’m only just now getting into the style, I’m seriously obsessed with the style! I’ve found that they are a dressier option for whenever I’m lazy and want to wear flats yet still look stylish. They pair beautifully with rompers, shorts, and dresses and are just so perfect for the summertime.
This pair of gladiators is feminine and flirty with its thin gold straps that criss-cross up to the knees. The sandal footbed is lightly padded, making them comfortable to walk in all day. There’s also a zipper that runs halfway up the back that allows for easy access — I only do 2 more criss-crosses up to my knee whenever I wear them! Sizing for these sandals also start at US4, making them petite friendly. I would say though that if you’re in between sizes, go ahead and size down. I’m normally a 5 – 5.5 and a size 5 in this pair fit me perfectly. If you’ve been thinking about trying out the lace-up gladiator sandal style, this pair that I’m wearing is only $36! (They do ship from overseas, so expect 2 weeks for it to arrive or chip in a little extra for expedited shipping!)

It's a little bit of a nuisance having to take the top off to use the restroom but I find that they are pretty easy to put on afterwards as I don't need to worry about tucking in or straightening anything. This particular one has a little drawstring that I just tighten and go! 🙂
