Floral print is my jam right now and I fell in love with the beautiful colors of this pastel cropped jacket. The soft palette and feminine print make for a perfect springtime graphic, and when paired with accompanying neutrals, makes for a pretty, work-appropriate look.
ASOS has always been a petite-friendly brand as their European sizing typically runs 1-2 sizes smaller than their US counterparts. Nonetheless, I couldn’t be happier to see that they have a petite line that has proportions catered to those with smaller frames! This was my first time ordering from their petite colletion, and I’ll readily admit that I was a bit confused as to their sizing. Previously, I’ve found that I’m about a size 1 in their ASOS brand regular collections and that the fit is comparable to a H&M size 2. Given that this jacket wasn’t from the ASOS brand, I disregarded the ASOS Petite sizing chart and ordered it in a size 2 (size 0 was also already sold out at the time but I would recommend going down a size in this brand).
While the shoulders are a little bit wide on this blazer, the fit isn’t too far off and the fact that it does have petite proportions makes it a better fit in all other aspects. The good thing about ordering from ASOS is that even if you’re uncertain about the sizing, their free shipping and free returns makes it worry free. I would recommend ordering a given item in couple different sizes just to compare and then just ship back the ones that don’t fit at no cost!
Since most sizes do seem to be sold out now on this blazer, the same print also comes in pants as well as a beautiful dress (see on Jean). I’m also loving a couple other outerwear pieces from the ASOS petite line like this mint boucle blazer and this pink textured coat. And if you’re looking to try a midi skirt but worried about the length making it look overwhelming, I’m loving this pretty pleated yellow one, this classic black one, and even this checked white one as petite-friendly options! Personally, I have my eye on this petite floral maxi… I’m already dreaming about how perfect it would be for those hot summer days. 🙂

Absolutely in love with the blazer! The colors, the length and the cut are fantastic..I do agree that the shoulder seems more pronounced..I do tend to go down in sizes for blazers if I know, I wont be buttoning or zipping them up..they give me a better fit. I will be looking out for this blazer in my size..hope to find it, because I LOVE it!
that jacket is sooo soo pretty!! i LOVE ASOS!!

I'm the same way with blazers! and i like the look of leaving blazers unbuttoned too. buttoning it up either causes pulling around the bust area when i move around or it just makes me look too boxy up top, lol. i am in love with this blazer too!
This floral blazer is beautiful!

As much as I love the blazer, what I am really smitten with is this neighborhood! The brick and the trees and the gorgeous sunlight… when can I move in?
