I love wearing white outfits in the summertime with colorful accessories to add a punch of color!  This off-shoulder trend is going strong this season and this outfit combines my love of rompers with this shoulder-baring style.  With the weather already up in the 90s now in Texas, I definitely appreciated the fact that this look was nice and lightweight!  I love the subtle eyelet design and kept my accessories simple with a pair of blue dangly earrings and my favorite statement tote of the moment.  I’ve also been on the search for a good floppy hat since the sun is already getting fierce these days, and I love this one with its super wide brim and striped pattern that easily pairs with summer outfits!

Meanwhile I’ve spending lots of time outdoors with the little ones and it’s been so convenient to have a nice car seat cover for when we’re on the go!  I didn’t use a car seat canopy with Dylan but things are so much different now that I’m juggling two kiddos!  Dylan is always bounding with loads of energy so it’s easier to take him out exploring instead of being cooped up in the house.  Unfortunately that’s not always convenient with a 4-month old who also needs her morning nap!  I was recently sent this car seat canopy from Little Dream Bird and it couldn’t have come at a better time as it has been perfect for providing a blackout shield to let Kennedy get a good nap in even when we’re out and about!

I love that the canopy has dual peekaboo windows — blackout and sunshade — so that I keep tabs on baby Kennedy in her carseat at a glance without having to actually lift up the shade.  She can keep on napping and I can have peace of mind that she’s ok!

so convenient when it’s raining or windy outside too!

Little Dream Bird has both lightweight and heavyweight styles carseat canopies (as well as stroller covers!) and I really love this lightweight one with the combination of a paisley “snow” print with edgy gold skulls adorning the flap — so unexpected yet so chic!
