Happy Valentine’s Day!! This week has been so much crazier than I was expecting so I apologize that posting has been a bit more sporadic. I’m so excited to have a minute though and wanted to pop in to share one of my favorite outfits that just seems so appropriate for this month of love! I’ve been wanting a red boyfriend blazer for some time now and have bought a few over the last couple of years only to end up returning them as the fit was just a bit off…
I finally found the red blazer I’ve been searching for and this one is such a keeper!! The key difference is really in the cut and fit. I love the slightly longer “boyfriend” style and the cuff sleeves that gives it a more casual feel. The material drapes well and sizing runs all the way down to a XXS which makes it a great option for petites too! Read on for my top 3 reasons why everyone needs a red boyfriend blazer in their closet:
Confidence Booster
Something about putting on a bold red blazer just gives you a boost of confidence, even if you need have days where you need to “fake it until you make it.” This red blazer is sharp without being too formal and the fit is just incredibly flattering. And when you look good, you feel good.
Statement Piece
I find that I get into style ruts at times and just need something to to change it up. There’s nothing better than a statement piece like this red blazer! You can wear an all-black outfit but top it off with this statement red blazer and you look instantly put together!

I love how red looks on anyone, it’s such a pretty colour and it adds a perfect pop of colour to any outfit. I’m not the biggest fan of blazers but I do own red outerwear and it’s my favourite.

You’re right, I do need a blazer! I used to have a black boyfriend style one in high school but I never knew how to wear it. Oh how times have changed because I’m pretty sure I’d live in that thing if I still owned it now!
