Hello friends! How was your weekend? We had two days of incredible weather and it felt to good to get some fresh air. It’s starting to feel like Spring around here and the winter coat is already in the box ready to be stowed away for another year. Old man winter, you better be gone for good this time!
Adrian totally surprised me with a super sweet Valentine’s Day gift (he surprised me once first in the morning with one amazing gift and surprised me later in the day with a second hidden gift for me to find — that guy, I tell you! 🙂 Anyways, I’m in love with this red purse that he picked out (I didn’t drop any hints on this one, y’all…I still can’t believe he picked out such a cute bag all on his own!) and wanted it to be the spotlight today. I went with a black and white checkered top and paired it with a pair of jeans and a blazer. I love how the garnet red pops against the darker, almost monochromatic colors and really defines the whole look. Adrian and I did have a funny conversation about how he thought ‘garnet’ was supposed to be green. Good thing his eye for bags is spot on. 😉
