I picked up this dress in preparation for our Jamaica vacation, and I just couldn’t wait to wear it!  The yellow floral print is gorgeous and the fabric had a beautiful flowy movement to it that just feels so luxurious.  The halter top is flattering for showing off the shoulders and while it’s a little hard to see, there are subtle pleats both at the top neckline as well as in the ruffle flounce hem that add such a pretty feminine detail!  While I did need to get the length hemmed and the sides taken in a few inches, at under $40 this dress is still so worth it (and it’s even currently on sale with free shipping)!  While I preferred the loose, billowy style while I was on vacation, this dress would also look great cinched at the waist with a belt for a more fitted look.

I originally bought these shoes in both navy and taupe with the intention of only keeping the one pair that I liked more.  But, after receiving them in the mail and loving how beautiful and surprisingly comfortable they were to wear (relatively speaking for heels!), I ended up keeping both!  The chunky heel makes them much easier to walk in and I love the look of the super soft suede as it wraps around my leg.  How gorgeous is the burgundy color for Fall though?  If you’re not wanting such a tall heel for everyday, I also love this lower heel option of this one and this one!

You’ll also have to ignore the blue bracelet I’m wearing here as they were needed during our stay at our hotel in Jamaica (not intended to actually be a part of the outfit, lol!).  Meanwhile I’m usually really good not leaving things behind on trips but sadly my hats didn’t make it (including this cute floppy one).  I had set it on our breakfast table after checking out of the hotel and somehow forgot to take it after we finished eating… (drat!)  At least I did find a similar one though and it’s on sale!
