I’ve been stuck on yellow lately as it’s just a color that seems to instantly brighten my mood and put me in a spring state of mind. Whenever I’m at a loss as to what bottoms to pair with a certain top, I seem to always reach for this black and white striped skirt. It just seems to go with everything! A black and white striped skirt is like the chambray shirt for bottoms. You can quote me on that. 🙂

I can definitely agree with you on the black/white striped skirt and chambray shirt! I don't have the skirt, but I have a black and white striped dress that I use as a skirt sometimes and it is a no-brainer goes with everything item. I love this with the yellow–which is my favorite color! So I am glad you are having a yellow moment!

come to think of it, i don't have many yellow pieces in my wardrobe. possible 2 bright yellow items, both of which are sweaters/knits, but nothing pale yellow! very pretty with the stripes!
